CEOs for Cities, “a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities,” is hosting a special meeting to discuss the stimulus package, and how it will affect Pittsburgh.
The panel will consist of Councilman Bill Peduto, Port Authority CEO Steve Bland, representatives from the offices of Arlen Specter, Mike Doyle, Ed Rendell and Jane Orie; State Representative Chelsa Wagner; Eve Picker, and an official from the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, among others.
These representatives are expected to discuss progressive uses of the city’s stimulus funds.
