CEO Bikepool Challenge

For all the leaders in our community!

This year BikePGH is asking community leaders to celebrate Bike to Work Day by helping promote bikepools. We’ve found that one of the main reasons people don’t ride to work is because they don’t feel safe on the roads. Riding with others is a good option because it’s especially comforting to new and inexperienced riders.

One of the ways BikePGH helps foster a bicycling community in the city is by putting social networks in place for fellow cyclists to learn from one another and support each other. Bikepools are key to building and sustaining a vibrant population of bike commuters. When we ride together it creates a larger road presence and higher visibility for motorists to see us.

The CEO Bikepool Challenge invites our community’s leaders to help bring attention to this important resource. More bikepools make Pittsburgh more bike friendly. The more bicyclists we have on the roads, the safer it will be for everyone. All community leaders (including but not limited to CEOs) please sign up here and we will try our best to find a bikepool for you on Bike to Work Day.

Who knows, this could be the start of something steady!
