Velomuse Mountain Biking 201 Ride

Mon, August 15, 6pm – 8pm / Frick Park Tennis Courts (S.Braddock near Biddle)

This no-drop women-only ride will focus on advanced features: skinnies, log overs, wooden bridges, and high-speed switchbacks. There will be a bit of sessioning and instruction; however, riders are expected to have a fair amount of conditioning and bike-handling experience on their own so we can maintain a fairly consistent pace. Rain in excess (puddles still on the ground within an hour of ride start), cancels ride. Bikes and helmets in good condition are required, while riding snack, hydration and eye protection are strongly encouraged. Stay tuned for details on a women’s retreat weekend with Velomuse.
