We’ve teamed up with a bunch of Pittsburgh’s outdoor, environmental and green non-profits to bring you a Mayoral Candidate’s forum on Greenspace in Pittsburgh. Join the Pittsburgh Green Space Alliance and the League of Women Voters as we host a mayoral candidate forum dedicated to addressing the importance of Greenspace in our city.

Hosted in the beautiful Heinz History Center, each candidate will discuss their plans as mayor for the expansion and integration of Green Space in Pittsburgh.

Wednesday, April 24
6-8pm (doors open at 5:30)

Heinz History Center
1212 Smallman St.
Pittsburgh, PA

The Pittsburgh Greenspace Alliance is an affiliation of non-profit organizations working on greenspace issues in and around the Pittsburgh area. Our current initiative is to provide a public forum for Pittsburgh Mayoral candidates to share their ideas on parks, greenspace, trails, and access to Pittsburgh’s Great Outdoors.

Greenspace consists of parks, trails, and natural areas used for recreational or aesthetic purposes with benefits to environment, economy, and human health.
