Public Bike Tool Cache in the Strip District Compliments PGH’s Newest Bike Lane

Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office make bike tools publicly available

Congratulations to The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office on becoming Pittsburgh’s most recent BikePGH-designated Bike Friendly Employer – and their location just-so-happens to be on Pittsburgh’s newest bike lane!

Medical Examiners Office bike boxThe facility’s committed Green Team, lead by Allegheny County Sustainability Specialist Zach Ambrose, has assembled a fully stocked tool kit that will meet the needs of any bike commuter should they run into some mechanical trouble on their way to work. The tool kit compliments their transportation info kiosk, parking facilities, and employee designated showers/changing rooms, to show that the county supports bike commuting.
