“I think that more than anything else, the steps embody the persistence of Pittsburgh. They show that even though our hillsides are nearly vertical, people are still determined to call them home.” – Dan Yablonsky, Business Programs Assistant

“One of my favorite places to walk in the fall is across the 31st St Bridge. Walking here provides great views of the Fall foliage along the hills of the Allegheny as well as the views of the city including the industrial sites, neighborhoods, and Downtown skyline. I appreciate that our bridges have sidewalks! The 31st St Bridge takes me to the North Shore Trail or the Strip District – both are also great places to walk around and explore.” – Jane Kaminski, Membership Assistant

4. Highland Park

“As I kid I visited this park regularly, it was one of my family’s favorite walks. Plus, the crabapple trees are filled with fruit this time of year; ready and waiting.” – Ngani Ndimbie, Communications Manager

3. Schenley Park

“What’s cooler than a cemetery in the fall? Plus there are often piles of leaves to jump in.” –Eric Boerer, Advocacy Director
