“Green & Global, Starting Local is a sustainability event that aims to promote environmental consciousness and educate members of our community about energy, water conservation, sustainable agriculture, recycling, and creative reuse. Through presentations, demonstrations, and interactive activities, we hope to translate these global issues into local action here in Pittsburgh. Cost of entry is a recyclable donation (plastic bags, light bulbs, batteries, etc.), and participants will have the chance to win prizes donated by green, sustainable organizations from around the city, including a free dinner for 2 at the restaurant Habitat, one of Pittsburgh’s many restaurants and businesses that uses locally-grown food.
When: Friday, March 29th 5-7 pm
