it looks like after the last forward slash, you forgot .jpg”>

check the link again, it might not actually need the forward slash. i have found that this message board will throw it in at random, or maybe it’s me…

Ok, that didn’t work. Advice on editing to post that photo?

Make sure in Flickr that you click the “all sizes” (I think that’s what it is called) tab at the top and grab the url from there. It’ll probably end in .jpg

The http: part needs to be in quotation marks “”

(everything after the src= including the .jpg)

And you need to close the IMG tag with a >

rachel_ding

Private Message

Jun 3 2010 at 3:46pm #

oh, and you also need the quote before http.

rachel_ding

Private Message

Jun 3 2010 at 3:48pm #

well… once you hit “all sizes” you still need to choose the size photo you want and right click (PC) or CONTROL + click (MAC) to “view image” in order to get the correct URL…

Nick D

Private Message

Jun 3 2010 at 3:51pm #

First, you need the url to the source of the image (should end in “.jpg”, .”jpeg”, “.gif” or something like that).

Second, put the URL in quotation marks.

Ohiojeff

Rachel is quite right you have to choose the size. You can click on small, medium, large. at the top.

Then underneath the photo you’ll see

2. Grab the photo’s URL:

Just copy the text in that box for your url.

I’m Frank

After the weather broke this spring I fixed up an old woman’s mountain bike and started riding the trails, first time on a bike in decades. Made me go and get a new hybrid.

I ride the trails, the streets make me nervous.

For several days I’ve been hearing Queen’s “March of the Black Queen” in my head. It’s not annoying.

Lucky for you I don’t have a picture.

@Lyle, no self hate here, just a dry sense of humor, and sure I could probably kick your ass on or off a bike, but if you don’t think triathletes are dorky then you’ve never seen anyone running a 10k with their bike helmet still on.
