@Mikhail:
Remember that it’s “points” not “miles.” Just dividing the total miles by the population doesn’t factor in the 20 points riders get for each day they ride.

I don’t see a quick way in the system to get the point total for each community. You could always go through and add the team point totals, I suppose, but that won’t get riders who aren’t on teams.

Actually, never mind, you could conceivably get the total points by multiplying the current number of points by the population factors you list earlier.

ASSUMING everyone is on a team, a quick tally indicates they’re dividing Pittsburgh’s total points by 392 to get the average for the rankings. Not sure where that number is coming from.

Mr. Marvelos claimed first place fo the night. :) Congrats!

PS Just checked my patch kit. It’s from Thick Bikes with their logo. It’s a cold vulcanisation patch for $2.49. I’ve put all small patches on my and my friends tubes. It looks like everything is OK. So this evening I bought more of them as well as TT O2 patch kit for $3.09 from Thick Bikes.

@Mikhail thanks, I didn’t even notice until I read this thread in the morning. I admit this bike challenge has encouraged me to ride a few extra miles before I go home from work or school.

Yeah, I’m def going back to the old school glue n stick. Actually if I just make sure to carry the right tube for the particular bike I’m riding, that would go a long way. :/
That was just an effed up day all around, everything felt off. Movin’ on.

So this app, where do we find our profile that has our points? If I log on my computer and pull up my profile I can find it, but for the app there’s nothing. Or else I’m just completely missing something….

I would have thought it would show up under challenges. Slight fail on their part that it doesn’t. But I work in front of a computer, so it’s not exactly hard for me to check on the site.

The only thing the app does well is track a ride. Otherwise it blows.

I’m not sure you can. As I recall from last year, you have to pull up the website, even to confirm your points for OTB.

That’s what I thought. *sigh. You think they would make it a little easier…I remember last year when people would come into OTB with their points they kept asking us how to find it. It would take them about 15minutes to finally figure it out. We also told those without smartphones to print it out to show us.

New fb page for the #Rust Crown where PGH can check how we stand against CLE.

http://www.facebook.com/rustcrown

(and btw, PGH is winning…as if there was any question about it)
