The first ever OpenStreetsPGH event is on July 20, 2014 from 8a.m. to 12p.m.
Market Square to the Roberto Clemente Bridge will be open to people and closed to car traffic so Pittsburghers can experiences their beautiful, vibrant streets in a whole new way.
What are Open Streets?
Open Streets initiatives temporarily limit streets to automobile traffic, so that people may use them for walking, bicycling, dancing, playing, and socializing. Open Streets is part of the Ciclovia movement that is spreading throughout the world and reaching over 100 cities in the U.S.
