I took a similar route as above, rode the unfinished section Westward, skipped it coming back, Not flats this time.
It kills me that the trails we create for cyclists are poorly surfaced, flat and straight and boring, and have almost zero shade, and STILL people will ride them. It goes to show if adults are provided a safe place to ride bikes they will.
I’ll see if I can turn this silly GPS data into a map on Bikely, but for now, it was about 91 miles, in 6:26 puting me back in friendship park at 1:45pm.
I learned that SPF 30 applied twice, does not protect me from getting burnt.
