Lydia (she/her) has travelled primarily by bike and by foot for the last decade, but her passion for biking started as a kid in Eastern PA where her bike gave her the freedom to explore on her own. At Goshen College where she studied Environmental Science, Lydia loved being part of a campus with a 1:1 student to bicycle ratio. Lydia has lived in Pittsburgh since 2013, where she travels on two wheels and two feet for the practical reasons: it’s convenient and free! Her work and volunteer experience has focused on creating community in the outdoors. Lydia’s hobbies are birding, learning to play new musical instruments, and gardening without gloves.
