Time?
Flitical Mass? Critical Flock?
Whos up for a ride tonight? Nick is busy yelling at Kayla somewhere on the GAP.
The usual, meet at 6, roll by 630.
They're showing Gasland at Frick Park tonight if you want a destination...
I thought that was last night.
I fixed the link. Nope, it's tonight. Friday August 27.
On Friday, August 27 at 8:15 p.m., PennEnvironment and our allies are hosting a free screening of the film Gasland at Frick Park in Pittsburgh. The film will open your eyes to the consequences of gas drilling in Pennsylvania and the United States, and will be followed by a discussion with experts about gas drilling happening right here in Southwest Pennsylvania.
This will be an eye-opening event you won't want to miss.
WHAT: Gasland, the movie
WHEN: Friday, August 27th
7:30 p.m.: Doors Open: join us early for live entertainment.
8:15 p.m.: Program begins
WHERE: Frick Park, located at the intersection of Beechwood Boulevard and Nicholson Street in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh.
Having already biked 22 miles today and with a big weekend ahead, I'm out. Might see you guys at the movie, though, if I can make it out of work in time.
I want to go to the movie in the park. Where exactly is it? I thought it was outdoors, but it says "doors open"? Will people be checking bags and stuff? I was hoping to enjoy a little of East End Brewing's fine offerings while watching the movie.
"Blue Slide Playground". area. You won't miss them, just ask people where Transitions is, or where the movie is. Speaking of which, you guys should check out the Transitions Meetup page. It might be singular. In any case, good info, good people.
No doors, no bag checking. You will undoubtedly not be the only one hoping to enjoy EEB's finest at that time.
Today is one of those rare Fridays where neither one of us has to work, so I'll probably be skipping the ride, but enjoying the movie.
Feel free to come say hi if you see us. We'll have a blanket and small cooler, and probably enough EEB to share.
Well, I showed up at 6 to see a bunch of strangers roll out, maybe ten or so, an proceed to cut off traffic at Craig. So for anyone who was curious, the idiots who at the reason we tarted flock, are still alive and well.
So I'm hanging out waiting for beth. Some nice blonde woman told me I had just missed what sounded like Stu.
Nope, wasn't me. I was just leaving FedEx at 6, and went straight home.
Interesting. She described a slightly older gentleman with an orange shirt or vest and glasses.
haha!
