Anyone have a thought as to where to stay in West Newton? I'm riding the trail from Rockwood to Pittsburgh next month for the first time. West Newton seems to be about the half way point.
Cedar Creek is a great free campsite about 2 miles east of west newton.
there's a brick oven there and a mini three sided cabin. and it's all free!
by then the water might be turned off tho, so you may have to fill up in west newton
round bottom at slush run...you can camp by the water or enjoy the cover from a cabin
