I might go for it, I "missed" the underware ride last night, but it depends if i can get out of work early enough to get up to oakland from downtown.

I'm sitting on a plane at SFO instead of going to the ride in SF and very sad about it... I just couldn't make it work out.

I don't like critical mass. They behaved as assholes first time I rode with them. They act as bunch of idiots today taking all three lanes on fifth all three lanes and a couple of riders waving across all lanes.

People wonder why it fell apart too? Haha. No idea why..

Those rides were sorta fun, the few i went on when i first moved here. But sometimes a bit chaotic, since they were free for alls. I am over group rides as of lately...It's either too chaotic or too uptight in my opinion.

How big was the turnout?

Maybe 15 wasnt a bad ride minus the trip on the trail behind PNC park(had no business being there). Successful ride. No altercation with any cars, no one even honked, don't recall ride taking up three lanes, maybe two on fifth in Oakland(buses). As of rules most were followed. Would do again. Thanks to who put together!!

My son in law and I saw more on account 60-80. May be a different group?

Nice turnout. Head is not exploding. Just looks like a couple hundred people having a good time, and generally well accepted by four-wheeled denizens.

But what was that fairing on the 'bent at about 4:10? That's cool, I've never seen one of those before.

@Stu: Looks like a ZZipper or Windwrap fairing...great for bug deflection and keeping cold winds/rain off your legs and body.

On long-wheelbase 'bents like that, they're pretty common. Some people add a lycra bodysock that snaps to the edges of the fairing and stretches around behind the seat for a fully enclosed bike. Those things can be stupid-fast, although cross winds tend to make handling a bit funky.

Good time? Taking all lanes even two lanes of oncoming traffic -- 2:54-3:40. :(
