Allegheny River front park plans

Riverlife sketches out Strip waterfront development plan http://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburgh/news/2016/05/20/riverlife-sketches-out-stripwaterfront-development.html The design plan, the formal cost and implementation strategy for which has yet to be fully established, calls for improving and extending the riverfront trail and adding new destination points along the way. That includes a new public plaza at 11th Street, a location at the foot of the Fort Wayne railroad bridge and across the street from the convention center; a landing at 15th Street for food vendors and a potential restaurant; an overlook and fishing pier at 21st Street that incorporates an existing foundation from a rail crane; and what's being called the Banks at 26th Street, which seeks to reuse an existing electrical tower as a riverfront landmark.
