Alleycat 8-15-10?
Anyone have any info on an alleycat that (I think) is scheduled for August 15? I saw a flyer in Kiva Han in Oakland but I had my kids with me and only gave it a cursory glance on the way out the door. Basically I just need to know if I have the date right, start time, and cost to participate. But if anyone else has more info than that, I thought it said something about wearing corpse makeup(?), please enlighten me. Thanks in advance! Chefjohn
thanks erok!
Into it.
who's putting it on? can't tell from the blog.
that image is pretty amazing
i have a great prize for this alleycat... let me know who's putting it on
I heard that this alleycat may feature a lot of kiss.
$10? Does this include the one-day license and insurance?
I heard this alleycat may feature a lot of Kiss ... in spandex.
Im new to all of this, what is an alleycat (gonna google it) Never mind. Found out.. sounds like fun
do i need to bring my usa cycling license to this or what?
i have the most appropriate pants for this alley cat. does that mean i win?
do i need to attach cleats to my giant boots for this?
these are the most important questions in the thread so far, imo.
Is this a fundraiser of some sort?
Make Steve have a random piss test at one of the stops. Can't go until you fill up the cup.
FYI: I think it's being organized by some dude named Seth. I don't think I know him but he works with Lomax.
so apparently there are now two alleycats on this day? that's cool.
makes it really hard for someone to get a good turnout to something they put a lot of time into...
Yeah. Two alleycats. 2pm and 5pm.
Wait, wait -- Some someone has had an alleycat scheduled for Sunday, August 15, at 5 p.m. for a few weeks ... and then someone else, today, scheduled one for 2 p.m. on the same day?
If I'm reading that correctly, that's pretty weak ...
Do you mean the Creamcycle? I think that might have been scheduled first (or at least I heard about it first). The Creamcycle's more of a fun-ride anyway, so probably not too much conflict.
