Either I'm missing something, or this was posted by my new best friend.
Hm. Getting that bike up to 88 MPH could be a problem...
Speaking of craigslist amusement. I'm no TDF historian but I'm pretty sure this isn't right...

haha:
A very similar bike originally sold for $3200 in 1998
technically, this person might not be lying. i mean both bikes may have 2 wheels, handlebars, a frame, tires, brakes, shifters and pedals. that's a lot of similarity right there.
To be clear this bike is like new and was not used by the TourDe France racing team but it has the following similarities
1) Two wheels
2) Not using solid tires
3) Found on planet Earth
4) ???
great minds think alike.
Ours, too.
That's funny! That bike uses two round wheels and some kind of frame exactly like Tinker Juarez' 1995 Pan Am Games championship bike!! Wow!
@ reddan: HA!
I don't think 7-11 racing existed in 1998 either.
...with the help of Wikipedia, I don't need to be a TDF historian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_Tour_de_France

But, you can clearly see that the racers paddle-biked across the English Channel.
