Any Fatbikers out there?
This Saturday, Dec.1, 2012 is Global Fatbike Day. Fatbike rides are being organized around the globe, but I can't find anything in Pgh.

There was one of these on the Flock/Light-Up Ride a couple weeks ago. These would be great to bring to a Try-A-Bike.
I'd also like to see if they fit in a bus bike rack. I think so, but some of those tires might be a tight fit.

my kona ute cargo bike didnt fit in a bus rack... the tires are pretty wide (700x47 or apparently also 28x1.75, according to the sidewall) but they werent the problem; the wheelbase was too long to sit securely. despite this issue, its still a sweet bike (and for sale 
christmas is coming)

A couple bus rack designs have an open end, which would accommodate a long-wheelbase rack, but there's no guarantee that you might get one of them to carry your cargo bike.
For fatbikes, my greater concern is tire width. And it sounds like that's a problem.

I had a Karate Monkey with Kenda nevegals (2.1 i think), and it was a tight squeeze, I had to push the tires down into the rack. PITA, but it was secure.
