I often find myself in Chicago for St. Pat's weekend, as I have family in the area. Skippppping this year, however. Just too much going on here. Besides, the parade and activities were the past weekend.

General FYI: Locals often skip the big general parade on Saturday in favor of the smaller, more local, southside festival on Sunday.

I was a little disappointed in the TV smash, though. I thought it was going to be a trebuchet.

oh well it's settled now, my old roommates from DC are picking me up on the way. hooray! I'll share some pictures when I get back. Goal: Not lose all my teeth like happened to several people last year. So excited!!!
