Benefit for Bicycle Joe 3/30 Hambones

There's a guy been riding bikes around town since the 60's. If you hang out on Flagstaff Hill or at Kraynicks, you probably know him. Often carries a guitar or banjo with him in a gig bag. Joe Robinson, AKA bicycle Joe. He taught me a bunch about how to use a bike over the years. More than any other individual, for sure. And I know I'm not the only one. He's had some sudden health problems and is currently in a health care facility that he can't afford Saturday at Hambones, there will be a benefit for him starting at 8. There will be bands and a good time for all. Good cause. You could have a great time at this even if you dont' know Joe! Joe and his bantar:

Maybe the benefit could raise money to get him a trip to Cuba, cultural exchange or something, where he could get some actual f**king health care. Sorry to be cranky but I'm just really tired of the private citizenry having to fund-raise and dig in the couch cushions to get people health care that every citizen of the wealthiest country on earth should have. Not in any way dumping on you or the gig. Really, it sounds like a cool gig. I kind of wish I had seen this guy around somewhere.
