Bianchi retailers around the city
Hey hey.
I'm looking for a track bike and I'm considering a Pista.
I called Trek a little while ago and they no longer sell 'em. And I tried calling Pittsburgh Pro, but their number is disconnected.
Are there any other local shops that sell them?
Pistas are great bikes, but I'm guessing you haven't really looked into the myriad of other options out there for track/fixed gear bikes. I got a sweet Uno fixie from Bob at Iron City Bikes about a year and a half ago and he always has a few other brands at his shop on Bouqet street in Oakland. Also try Thick Bikes on 15th street in the Southside, custom bikes for a reasonable price.
p.s.
Pareto, man you really look like Tom Selek!
There was a Pista on Craigslist yesterday, http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/1158308693.html
I don't know of any other dealer than Pittsburgh Pro, I am thinking about a Bianchi San Jose myself.
The owner of that Pista stripped it down. It is sitting in my apartment, frame/fork/BB/headset/stem. He'd probably sell it cheap if you want to ad your own bars, wheels, and a crank set.
He stripped it for parts to build a very hip rainbow fixed conversion. The frame is very clean though.
What size is it?
