I'd start by editing the title of the post to include the pertinent information, like what position you're hiring for Reminds me of the institution where I work where people send emails saying "check the included document for the info" and I'm like "Just put the info in the dang email!"

Pedantism might be a good trait for an editor actually Alas, guilty as charged. My intent was more based on an interest in inserting pun/sarcasm and criticizing vague subjects than moderating. This reminded me I actually get emails where I work that don't have any title and we have basically no restrictions on the sending of mass emails, which also drives me nuts It's like 50% bereavement notices
