i haven't seen any other articles, but hopefully she actually left the scene in stable condition...
A crash involving a bicyclist shut down a section of Route 910 in Indiana Township on Thursday morning, but police said the cause of the crash is a mystery.
County police said the bicyclist — a 59-year-old woman — was found “unresponsive but breathing” following the crash, which occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Route 910.
Initially, it was reported that the woman was hit by a vehicle, but police said their investigation showed “no evidence to suggest she was struck by a motorist.”
They said, “at this juncture, it is unclear how the female fell from the bike.”
Police said the woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was listed in stable condition.
In a release, police said the woman may have “hit the rumble strip and was thrown from the bike” due to low visibility from the “fog and limited light.”
Route 910 was closed in the area of Blue Run Road.
