We need one of these on Spring Way!
Bike part vending machine in Minneapolis
"Minneapolis was named the country's number one city for biking last year by Bicycling magazine, but the city's bike community isn't resting on its laurels. Looking to make Minneapolis even more welcoming to cyclists, local entrepreneurs recently opened the city's first self-service bicycle repair kiosk, to serve the flat tubes and busted gears of the thousands of cyclists who travel Minneapolis's bike paths each week."
This is awesome. They should do one of those maps that Bcycle did to see what city will be best to install more of these.
This reminds me of an older discussion we had 'round these parts (too lazy to search) about providing bike friendly "safe house" signs to folks willing to provide assistance to other cyclists who get stuck with a mechanical.
There was also this thread about European cyclists. I look at it as a wish list for what we need here as we get more serious about cycling as a way of life here.
