that sounds like a good pit stop. i can never make it to critical mass on time. When I'm in town my evening commute begins around 5pm from the strip and ends in the southside.
Bike Ride to OTB Friday 01-30-2009?
Is anyone interested in a bike ride to OTB on Friday evening? I'm wandering if Critical Mass or Critical Manners is planning a route to OTB.
If I were to plan a ride, I would like to start at Washington's Landing around 4:30~5:00 PM.

OK, I'm stupid. Remind me what OTB is?

Over the Bar: it's like Jack's, but for non-motorized cycles...

it's a pretty sweet spot. i'm planning on going to the opening on one of the days, not sure which one yet. i had the seitan wings and they were bangin'!
Just had the carnivore's version of the Bicycle Advocate burger...that's some good eatin', even if it seems a little, well, odd. PB and pickles sounds more like pregnancy cravings then burger toppings, but it works.
Good without, but better with, hot sauce, by the way.
I done with work at 4:30 (Friday) and unless someone has a better suggestion I plan on loitering at work for a bit, riding to the South Side to shop at REI and the bookstore for a bit and being at OTB at the 6pm start time or so.
i'm most likely going to go saturday
I leave from the strip a little after 5pm, I'll take my time heading over to OTB.
