Hey Folks. Below is the the advert for the Bike to the Buccos ride on Aug 6th. Contact me with your rsvp or any questions.
Facebook Event Page www.facebook.com/events/426520870733399/
As part of MOVEPGH Workshop #4, join us (Aug 6th) on a bike ride to the Pirates game! Tell us what you think about our bicycle infrastructure, and we'll give you a complimentary ticket to the game!
The ride will start promptly at 6pm at the East Liberty Carnegie Library.
Please rsvp for your ticket with Stephen Patchan, Bicycle/Pedestrian Coordinator, stephen.patchan@pittsburghpa.gov, 412-393-0150. Quantities are limited, so act fast!
My guess is that if/when they know the City Bike/Ped Coordinator is involved with this, there won't be any problem at all. If it were you or I doing it, I think our mileage might vary from his.
Edit - double post
As of this morning at 9:30 AM there were still tickets available for this (I got mine). Getting a free ticket to a Pirates game for telling the City Bike/Pedestrian Coordinator what you think of the bicycle infrastructure in the city sounds like a sweet deal!
Top for tickets still available! Hit me up if you're interested.

Burnett took a no-hitter into the 8th inning the last time he pitched, and he's scheduled for Monday night...I wouldn't want to miss this game. Hope to see a lot of you there!
Steve - just sent you an email with ticket request.
Top for today's ride! I still have a few tickets left. Hit me up if you're interested.

This was a blasts! Thanks to all of you who participated. I like to think that we had a little bit of influence on the outcome of the game.
Raise it!
I had a great time at the Pirate game tonight and met a lot of friendly and interesting people. This was my first time riding my bike to see a game and I must say the trip to and from PNC Park was as much fun as being at the game. Thanks Steve for the ticket and please contact me if you would like my rookie thoughts on riding the streets of our city.
Great time. Hope someone posts some pictures.
Here are a couple photos from the game.
I didn't take any from the ride portion of the event.
It was great to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones.
It was also great to be able to wave the Jolly Roger at the end of the game!
