Big island specifically. Has anyone done this? Road or mtb? If so, what was your experience and where did you rent from?
We are going back in September. We didn't do any last time and don't want to miss out again.
Some of the resorts are supposed to have badass mountain bike trails.
They have the Xterra off-road Triathlon finals in Hawaii. I was reading some rumors that Lance might do either the Iron Man or the Xterra later this year to raise money for his foundation.
didn't make it to that island, but Maui seemed very bike friendly when we were there. Some roads you couldn't take rental cars on, but would have been fun on a mtb.
