Birthday Party -possibly with bike ride.

Hello.  As you all know, I'm old and slow.  I hope to get older on Friday, February 16. I'm having a 65th birthday party at a hall in Greenfield from 7:30 to 11  (early.) When I did this for my 60th, there were bikers, flockers, dancers, drinkers, and a variety of other "-ers" I'll likely lead a bike ride from Dippy starting at 7. I don't expect the ride to be jack-ass death-defying ride, like it was last time. I'm hoping this party won't feature any broken bones... If you'd like more information , message me.

For the record, the broken bone part happened after the party. Also, has five years gone by already?  time flies as they say.

Topping.  Just because. I expect there to be a ride. Although there is a large chance of rain on Friday, Weather.com says it is likely to be in the morning.   Temps are expected to be above freezing.    If the weather starts being worse, I may cancel the ride, but , right now it looks good.  The ride to the party is about 2 miles log is a low traffic, aminly through the park.   I've had a request for a baby sitter for an 8 year-old.  I expect to get that sitter, so if you are hestiant to come because of your kids, you might reconsider.(but please let me know, so I can get adequate coverage. ) Any suggestions for good Pizza in the Greenfield area?

Is it 7:30 AM or PM? If AM, I cannot come.

It will be 7:30 PM.  I don't think Pittsburgh is ready for a party with booze and bands at 7:30 AM yet. The  weather looks good for a ride to the party starting at Dippy and leaving at 7 (PM)

@Mick, Good, Wundergroung says AM rain and snow. I hope the snow doesn't stick.

... is (to me) an old linguist "joke" meant to highlight the role of context in understanding. Of course, to work it needs to (narrowly) constrain the context of interpretation. But it demonstrates, yet again, the importance of distinguishing the forest from the trees. These days I just use shorthand and say "time flies like a banana". [oh, and sorry I wasn't to able to make your 65th.]

Pouring rain didn’t help. My real problem was a last-minute work commitment. Sorry I missed it.
