thanks for the feedback.
do you think a button on the sidebar, similar to the "become a card-carrying member" would help?
i too, agree.
The Bike-PGH blog is a good blog, and I like to read it.
However, it seems quite hidden to me. You have to go to the bottom of the main page to get a peek at the topics, and waaaay to the bottom to actually get to it. From anywhere else on the site, it seems you have to go well to the right and then down a menu.
By my reckoning, since the blog is the most compelling reason for a return visit to the main page once you've checked out the rest of the site, it seems like it should be more prominent on the site.

It's not in the menus anywhere. Drop it under resources for now.
it's under news ->>> blog
do people use rss? we have a lot of people subscribed, at least using google reader, to it. just wondering.
I get the rss feed. It took me a little while to find the link for subscribing, though.
Great blog.
I use RSS. Hysterical, you can see how people miss it. I was actively looking for it and didn't look under the News tab.
weird i was looking for it yesterday too and thought
it was hard to find. I was looking for something that i had already read on rss.
we just want you to click around alot to get our numbers up
Check out the homepage, or any other non-forums page - we've got a brand new button just for those looking to easily access the blog. Never say you can't make a difference!
As far the RSS thing, I think it's a matter of importance...with Firefox & Safari you've got links to the RSS feed up in the address bar and I sort of assume that if people use RSS, they're familiar with this stuff. But is RSS more important than the items that come above it? These are the big questions.
Thanks for the feedback and feel free to keep it coming!
Nathan:
I just noticed that text after an unsigned list shows up in the middle of the list. Might you check the stylesheet?
