Depends on how much you want to do to make it better. Three piece bottom bracket, good, wheels are 60% of a bike, are they good, light, aluminum?
If not price should reflect upgrade costs...

Buying A Road Bike
A couple of months ago I was thinking about buying a road bike and it was suggested that I buy a used one. I am still looking at buying a road bike. What should I look for when buying a used road bike?

I am a big fan of lugged steel bikes. They look great and usually have a bit more room for tires/ fenders then modern road bikes.

Me too. I love the craftmanship. I was pennyless for a long time, now not so. Luggs can be made so many ways....
