This morning I got up and grabbed my bike to hear off to the grocery store to pick up some stuff for the day. The store isn't that far and I see no reason to use anything other than my bike.
I went to the store and picked up the things I wanted only to discover that when I left the house I left my wallet behind.
so a ride back to the house and I have lost the will to go to the store.
Sigh
well, then, don't think of it as going to the store, think of it as going for a bike ride!
i went to the store yesterday afternoon, about a mile away, and i asked if anyone wanted anything (i'm visiting my parents at the moment). after getting numerous requests, all of which i would easily be able to carry on my bike, my dad asked "why don't you just take the car?" some people just don't get it.
It was a nice ride but a little hard to enjoy since I was planning on buying breakfast (apple yogurt and juice) there as well. I felt like my stomach was trying to eat at my spine on the way back.
(didnt even take water) not a long ride but rather un-fun. My own fault and at least I can laugh at myself.
You might be a bike rider if... you"forget" your wallet as a means to have a longer ride?
