Do you mean, meander through on a bike, or do you mean do laps to acrrue miles?
Hi folks ...
There sure are a lot of big cemeteries here in Pittsburgh. Does anyone know if any of them allow recreational biking inside?
Thanks!

I guess I just mean meander through.
the allegheny cemetery in lawrenceville allows you to ride a bike. they ask that you strictly stay to the roadway, be respectful of funerals, and stay under the speed limit
Three big cemeteries allow bikes. Here's a map that I created for a BikeFest ride that gets you to all of them. 20 Miles.
Allegheny, Calvary and Homewood Cemeteries
Cemeteries are not just for dead people; I've never had trouble riding (or walking) through a cemetery. You just need to be respectful of your surroundings.
Do you know why they put gates and fences around cemeteries? Because people are dying to get in.
Watch out for the deer. I counted 25 in one group in the Homewood Cemetary. They were gathered in a group that spread across the road and none of them were in a hurry to move. Having 50 little black eyes staring at me was slightly disconcerting.
