Hey Guys,
I'll be moving out of the area here in about a week and will really miss the awesome community I have found here on Bike PGH.
I was curious if anyone knew of similar programs located in Chicago? Anyone have any good experiences with bike shops or different annual rides out that way?

The Active Transportation Alliance is your best bet for advoccacy type stuff.
Google Chicago Bikes for a lot of information on rides, ride groups, maps, etc. etc. The actual site name is something like "explore chicago." Edit:

Lived in Chicago for a few years. The Critical Mass there is actually a great way to get into the biking community. It's for the most part non-aggressive, friendly to all kinds of bikers including families with kids, has a really positive atmosphere, and is supported by the police. The Critical Mass mailing list is the equivalent of the Bike Pgh message board:

Not to mention a lot of bikeable areas along the shoreline. And it's a great lake! (was in it last weekend.)
