For several weeks now, there have been construction vehicles parked in the bike lane outbound on Neville. There are a bunch of slick construction plates in the road and now in the bike lane, in addition to vehicles.
I am not even sure that we can 311 this. Has bike pgh spoken to those in charge? If so, what is their response to blocking bike travel lanes?

I'm not sure you're going to get much of a resort because they need to park the construction vehicles somewhere. For weeks when they were repaving Negley they parked the vehicles overnight in the friendship stretch. I know it is super annoying but hopefully the outcome (better streets) is worth the annoyance. I'm just not sure the city is going to see this as a priority.

They are probably doing some work prior to repaving. Neville, Center (between craig and moorwood), and the rest of s. millvale is still on the list for 2016 paving. The last time I checked it said sept / oct timeframe for actual paving (probably due to whatever work they are doing).
Once this is all done, it will be fantastic for me since I hit all these streets daily.

The stretch of bike lane after Ellsworth towards Bayard is constantly blocked by cars parking there, and understandably so. The lane kind of abruptly ends, and the signage is unclear.
I have a feeling this is part of the eventual, "River to River Bikeway" that is planned.
