Crappy Parts for Sale
Too much bike stuff laying around. The following are up for grabs:
Vuelta Zerolite track wheels. They're a bit hefty, and the hubs aren't the smoothest, but perfect if you've got a crappy frame and want to build a beater bike. The rear wheel is flip-flop. The fixed side is 14t, and the freewheel side is 16t. I used the front wheel on the Pgh Randos 400k this year, when I broke a spoke the day before and needed a replacement wheel. It's round and it rolls. Otherwise very few miles. $50, and I'll throw in a Continental SuperSport tire, with no miles on it. Use it on your trainer this winter. You also get a lockring tool.
Nashbar drop bars. 42cm, 26mm clamp size. $5.
Nashbar aero road brake levers. $5.
I'm riding the WpW century this Sunday at North park, so I can hand the stuff off then. Otherwise I'm in Zelie and can meet in Cranberry.
I'll take the wheels. What time will you be at North Park?
I'll be there at 6:50, in accordance with the recommended 7 AM start time for the century. You're the same Nick who did the red belt CtC training ride with me and reddan and a few others this past spring, right?
Yep, that's me. However, I don't think I can make it that early. Maybe I can meet you in Cranberry sometime this week.
