Yeah, it has been sunny all week that trails should be dried out. There might still be downed trees from the February snow. I was on the yough trail in Boston on Tuesday and they only had about 4 miles of trail cleared of downed trees. Then the trail was unpassable.
Crushed Limestone Trail Conditions
Does anybody know how trail conditions are on any of the crushed limestone trail, such as the Yough or the Butler-Freeport Trail? Have they dried out?
the northside trail was dry, although super lumpy and full of holes

Scarify, water, back drag and recompact as per this Bobcat and it's attachments. If the trails are city or county owned, then they must be rolled into their capital roads programs and annual pavement management programs.
Would "dragging" the trails work? I know the city does this to all the baseball diamonds after a rain storm, or when the field is lumpy from overuse. Basically what they do is attach a giant rake to the back of a tractor and pull it along
Butler-Freeport trail is a go. My brother just ran it this weekend, says it's fine.
