The 2019 Dirty Dozen will be Sat Oct 26. It will start at 9:00 am at the Rhododendron Grove Shelter in Highland Park and will continue to be organized in groups in order to keep the individual groups down to a manageable size (

NOTE that this is about a month earlier than the traditional date. Worry about weather, the increasing number of out of town participants, and the difficulty Danny Chew has waiting at the top of hills in the cold led to the timing change. The hope is that this will sharply reduce the odds of bad weather forcing a cancelation.
Finally, there are scouting rides each week leading up to the Dirty Dozen. As per tradition they are starting out with quarters of the whole ride, followed by the top and bottom halves, and finally practicing the entire route. These rides are also announced on the DirtyDozenNewsFeed, with starting locations depending on the route.
