They did see a couple of tornados on radar, well north of us, like Portersville, Emlenton, Moraine State Park. But if we didn't get one in that storm front that just passed through, we're probably in the clear. I watched the storm for a few minutes. I'm guessing it dropped the better part of an inch of rain in an hour or less. Then it's likely to rain or drizzle for a half hour, and clear up. I guess we'll see if we get a second big round of storms, but my reading of the weather analysis is that once the big stuff is past, we're not likely to get a whole lot more. Looking at radar, all of Ohio is clear of bad weather at 3:15.

Maybe I'll take my chances if the Wizard > current person in power?

Tornados? Really? What are you talking about? My ride home was really nice. There was even some pretty blue sky to the west. It did look like it probably rained earlier, but the pavement was already pretty dry. Such fuss. Maybe what we need is a Bikenado ride...
Kidding aside. Once, many years ago, I had ridden out to somewhere north of the city. At some point it started getting dark. I looked up at the sky; the clouds had those weird pre-tornado dimples in them, and that olive-ish color. I was way out in open farmland. I got seriously scared, started pedaling. Really fast. Fortunately nothing came of it... That was before you could find weather just there, on the interweb (and before smartphones). Sometimes, progress is good.

Possibly the most famous image of a person riding a bike in a movie is Almira Gulch from that movie. People think it's a 1900 Orient.

From what I saw on social media there was actually a tornado yesterday near Cranberry.   Also some guy bike up my huge hill in the middle of the heart of the storm. I was going to run out to flag him down for shelter but he was gone by the time I got to the garage.
