You're actually ok using it w/o those teeth. Some of the old rear ders didn't even have teeth. It sucks but don't let it play with your head, it'll be fine.

Emergency-Rear derailleur pulley needed by tonight!!! - *Update: SOLVED!
Anyone have a spare MTB shimano rear derailleur pulley 'gear'? As I was tuning my bike up for a race tomorrow morning I realized that my lower pulley 'gear' was missing about 3-4 teeth. If anyone has any I could buy/borrow it would be appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks Chris. I just went on a quick ride and it seems to be holding up. Seems to catch every once in a while but should work...I hope! Fortunately it's a short race.
Will have to live with as is!
