That's it---there needs to be a James Bond-ized bicycle. Retractable water bottle holder, retractable pepper spray/missile mount, rocket boosters, theft protection.....

In contravention of the rule that politicians shouldn't wear hats, he sometimes does put a helmet on.

Apparently in conjunction with a tour of a biorefining plant in Missouri, in April 2010.

Politicians very often put on safety helmets at factories; it shows solidarity with the workers.

especially if required by OSHA in order to enter the part of the factory where actual work is being done by actual workers.
