Father's Day bike ride in Squirrel Hill

A Father's Day Bike Ride! Western PA Wheelmen will be conducting a June 18th Father's Day morning bicycle ride through key areas of Squirrel Hill. A leisurely 3-mile loop, it is suitable for everyone! Looking forward to participating in the ride are members and friends of the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee. Meeting time: 8am Sunday, June 18, 2017 Ride time: 8:30-9:30am Visit the Squirrel Hill Farmer's Market after the ride! Located in the public parking lot between Beacon and Bartlett Streets, and very near the ride's start-and-finish point, the market will be operating from 9am to 1pm on June 18. Stuffed squirrels worn on the helmet are invited, as are other squirrel-themed clothing items.

My quick count at the start was 25 big people and 5 children on bikes, with 2 in trailers plus 1 riding tagalong. I don't recall seeing any squirrels in the group.

There was a squirrel. A flattened one. On Forbes, between Shady and Denniston. Didn't stop to snap a pic, unfortunately.
