For Sale: KHS Urban Express - $250
Selling my KHS urban express. I've just got too many bikes, and this one gets used the least at the moment.
It's got a new 53t FSA chainring on a triple crankset in front, new KMC chain, 8 speed shimano alivio drivetrain components with trigger shifters, tektro v-brakes, and almost brand new continental 700x35 tires.
The seat is the kushy one that came with the bike, KHS branded. One rim is black, the other silver.
It's a great commuter. It's got rack and fender mounts. I've ridden it to DC on the gap/c&o and all over pittsburgh.
It's got a mirror on the handlebars, you can take that too.
I might cross post this on craigslist, but I figured I'd offer this on here first. $250 takes it.

What size is it / how tall are you? I've been thinking about buying a bike for my boyfriend, and this is pretty much what I was looking for, but I only have a rough idea of what size he would need

Sorry, I forgot that detail. This is a medium size. I think it's around 52cm. I'm 5'9" and it fit well.

+1 on the Urban Xpress. I have the mixte version: @pearmask I think you rode it at Try-A-Bike. I have a leather saddle & panniers on mine. Great basic bike.
