Friends of the Riverfront is having a new & unique Halloween themed event that is family-friendly and that will take over the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, with proceeds benefiting the continued maintenance of this 25-mile trail system.* "The Masquerade Poker Parade", as is call, will have seasonal activities and trick-or-treating for children and a poker rally for adults 21+ Adults and children will visit booth stations along the trail via walking, biking, rollerblading, etc -(whatever you choose)! to participate in activities, receive giveaways, and adults will complete punch cards good towards a poker hand. 7-8 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ONLY for helping marshal some intersections along the trails. For your participation, you will be able to attend a "volunteers-only" party where some sweet prizes will be given. It is a 25-mile system of trails in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County along both sides of all three rivers. The trail is dedicated for use by walkers, runners, cyclists, commuters, roller bladers, and is ADA compliant.
