I was wondering if anyone knows what condition the GAP trail is to past Boston. With the hard rains, are there washed out areas? Was planning on doing an overnighter this weekend. thanks!

Not too bad, I was out there a week ago (during the rain, more or less). There are some puddles around OhioPyle but crews have been good about filling them up with rocks (a little rough for a 28mm tire but fine for a wider tire with lower pressure).
We mostly encountered fallen trees but there were crews out with saws within hours. I'd worry less about a build up of damage over a week and more about immediate damage from a previous night's storm.

i'm assuming they are back on, but 2 weeks ago the lights in the savage tunnel were out.

I went out this weekend on my road bike. It was pretty much fine other than one washout about 3 miles past Boston. It was passable on foot (but had lots of goopy mud).
I was just out for the day so I turned around there.
