Get your bike tuned up

Felt pretty good about getting my bike tuned up at my local bike shop (BikeTek in Squirrel Hill). This is something I normally do myself but given the situation I decided to give the business to them. The work was done well, and my bike is sparkling. If you're working, throw your bike shop some business!

Good idea Jon. I wonder if bikes shops communicate with each other regarding parts shortages.  I know some chain retail stores (pet products in my experience) can look up where in the area a particular product is in stock.

AliExpress (the consumer version of AliBaba) has lots of bike stuff, at mind-bendingly low prices. It's a buyer-beware world there. But if you know how to look you can find pretty good deals provided you're happy enough with the quality. Or you could get something classy instead. (No I'm not addressing the who tune up thing. But you can just follow Jon's advice.)
