Getting to Frick Park from Aspinwall. Biking around or through parades

How can I go from Aspinwall to Frick Park without disrupting parades? The Aspinwall parade goes until 1:00 PM so I can wait that one out. Are there any parades taking place along Negley Ave., East Liberty Blvd., Dahlem Pl. Reizenstein Way, Living Pl., Bakery Square Blvd., Beechwood Blvd., Reynolds St., Selwyn St., Juniata Pl., Linden Ave., or any other streets between Aspinwall and Upper Frick Park? If there are, where would I be allowed to cross them?

It’s possible to get through a parade, if you walk your bike, and get someone’s OK. Parades often stop, so look for your chance. What I wouldn’t do is jump across unexpectedly. I’d sidle up to a cop at an intersection, dismount, wait a good solid 75 to 90 seconds, and ask, “Hey, is there any way I can get across if they stop?”   good luck

You don't need to wait 60 seconds, you can ask cop as soon as you dismount bike. Did it many times in Downtown. Cops there not to close any traffic at all. Pedestrian traffic is allowed. In most cases bike traffic is allowed too.
