bumpity-bump. Hope to see you there!
Thanks to the organizers for a great ride over beautiful roads. Lots of fun today!
Top! Thanks so much Shelia and Major Taylor Cycling Club for putting on this fundraiser for us. I'm impressed with the turnout!!! 65 women riders. Nice!
Wow, holy crap, we had 65 riders! I had no idea.
I spent much of the ride with two women who had driven down from Slippery Rock. They had seen the ride posted online and thought it sounded like fun.
I waited at the finish for almost two hours but all of the riders were still not back yet. Hopefully everyone had a good time out there.
Girls and Gears Pics!
Sarah, I rode sweep, so I finished up with the late folks. Everybody made it.
A few of our riders were new to cycling and unaccustomed to hills, so they took their time. They were as cheerful as they were determined, and that made it a lot of fun.
Kudos to Bruce & Sheila and the rest of the volunteers for putting this on. I'm just laughing at the pictures of a couple of guys fixing bikes surrounded by a crowd of women. I get that it was a demo, but the gender stereotype is too funny.
I've been on several rides where there have been a circle of men watching me change one of their tires. I think it's my CO2 cartridges that land me the job.
