I stopped at the Carnegie Library today (Squirrel Hill branch). Someone had shoveled a clearing through the snow to the doors (back entrance), but there was deep snow all around the bike racks. (deep = more than I wanted to shove my bike into.) Looks like they might even have been throwing snow in the area where bikes would go. I guess no one expects people to ride in the winter? I was going to ask about it, but right inside the entrance was a shovel. The security guard glanced at me when I walked out with it, but didn't say anything, and I at least got enough snow cleared out that a few bikes should be able to park. And returned the shovel.
