Gym shooter.
The excerpt from the gym shooter's blogs were odd. If you didn't know what the guy's "project" was, they sound almost positive. I can't find the original blogs, but he did write something about bike trails:

The original site has been taken down. I'm sure you could find it somewhere online, but don't waste your time, I read it this morning and it was very disturbing.
